Workshops and More at The Wrap Show

You’ve heard – we love in person events. What’s better than meeting with distance friends IRL (in real life)!

Well we have an idea of what’s better – learning from each other. Sure there are so many online resources available to learn any carry or development technique but being able to talk in person is powerful. It’s how we bring this community together and raise each other up. Why pass up this international opportunity?

At The Wrap Show this year, we’re excited to announce not only workshops for the public but a continuing professional development track as well for anyone who works with other carers and their slings.

For those new to carriers, we’ll have sessions on wrapping basics, from the ever-loved front wrap cross carry and ring slings to advanced skills like back carries by Azizah from North London Sling Clinic and fancy finishes with Marloes Degraaf.

Got your carrying jam worked out? We’ll have talks to explore – from fan sessions with Woven Wings and Kenhuru, to fibre geekery with Tina Hoffmann, dance and yoga classes.

We even have first to the UK sessions like Babywearing Dads with Darren Sadler and wrapping a big kid in a thin wrap with Anna Hoffmann.

A bit tired of babywearing only talks? Helen Hamston from Mummy’s Gin Fund will talk about starting a business with a baby in tow.

And for the professionals out there, from newly minted peer supporters to seasoned consultants, we’ve got some exciting sessions for you, too. Why not join our track and bust myths with Dr. Rosie Knowles, babywear in the NICU with a specialist nurse, and practice active listening with Anne Mcewan. Oh, we’ve got more planned than that too – we’re also going to talk accessibility online and in person and how to make your babywearing business brilliant.

Join our public workshops and talks for £5 – they will get you into any session. We’ll offer sign ups before the show to make sure you get into what you don’t want to miss. Fan sessions with Woven Wings and Kenhuru are free and come with your ticket!

For our professional track, £25 will get you into the professional and public sessions plus the marketplace and a  gift bag! Buy now – prices will go up to £30 on 1 May.
