Where exactly:
The Magic Roundabout is located outside the fare gates but INSIDE Old Street Tube Station, just walk along the shopping concourse and the staircase is opposite Nincomsoup.

ACCESSIBILITY

There are lifts available next to Nicomsoup to bring you upstairs. The station has ramp access as well.

There is limited space for buggies so you may need to fold them on site. The station itself has baby change facilities but otherwise we’re pretty casual.

The nearest London Underground (Tube) stations are:

  • Old Street Tube Station (Northern Line)
  • Liverpool Street Station (Central Line, Hammersmith and City Line, and Metropolitan Line, Overground and National Rail)

FROM THE AIRPORT

From London Heathrow Airport

London Underground: Piccadilly line towards Cockfosters (55 minutes). At King’s Cross, change to the Northern line towards Morden, getting off at Old Street Station (4 minutes). Don’t exit the station but walk through the shopping arcade. The entry stairs are opposite Nicomsoup.

Tube fares are much cheaper with an Oyster Card or contactless payment.

Express Train: Heathrow Express to Paddington Rail Station (22 minutes). Walk to Paddington Underground Station and take the Circle line towards King’s Cross (20 minutes). At King’s Cross, change to the Northern line towards Morden, getting off at Old Street Station (4 minutes). Don’t exit the station but walk through the shopping arcade. The entry stairs are opposite Nicomsoup.

Coach: National Express Coaches run throughout the day, offering journey times of 40–80 minutes to Victoria Coach Station. From Victoria, take the Victoria Line towards Walthamstow Central, getting off at Euston (6 minutes). At Euston, change to the Northern line towards Morden, getting off at Old Street Station (6 minutes). Don’t exit the station but walk through the shopping arcade. The entry stairs are opposite Nicomsoup.

Taxi: London taxis are available outside each terminal. The cost to central London is £45–£70 and the journey time is approximately one hour. Or, book a minicab / private hire in advance.

From London Gatwick Airport

Express Train: Gatwick Express to Victoria Rail Station (30 minutes). From Victoria, take the Victoria Line towards Walthamstow Central, getting off at Euston (6 minutes). At Euston, change to the Northern line towards Morden, getting off at Old Street Station (6 minutes). Don’t exit the station but walk through the shopping arcade. The entry stairs are opposite Nicomsoup.

Southern Trains also operates less expensive stopping services to Victoria (35-40 minutes). From Victoria, take the Victoria Line towards Walthamstow Central, getting off at Euston (6 minutes). At Euston, change to the Northern line towards Morden, getting off at Old Street Station (6 minutes). Don’t exit the station but walk through the shopping arcade. The entry stairs are opposite Nicomsoup.

Express Train: Stansted Express to Liverpool Street Station (45 minutes). From Liverpool Street Station, it is an 11 minute walk to Old Street Station. Go into the shopping arcade, the entry stairs are opposite Nicomsoup. Don’t go into the tube gates!

Coach: Airport Bus Express to Liverpool Street Station operate once an hour with a journey time of about 1.5 hours, depending on the time of day. From Liverpool Street Station, it is an 11 minute walk to Old Street Station. Go into the shopping arcade, the entry stairs are opposite Nicomsoup. Don’t go into the tube gates!

FROM MAJOR RAIL STATIONS

St. Pancras (Eurostar), King’s Cross or Euston: London Underground Northern Line southbound towards Morden.  Exit at Old Street Station. Don’t exit the station but walk through the shopping arcade. The entry stairs are opposite Nicomsoup.

Waterloo or London Bridge: From Waterloo, walk to Southwark for Jubliee to London Bridge. From London Bridge, take the Northern Line north to Edgware, getting off at Old Street Station. Don’t exit the station but walk through the shopping arcade. The entry stairs are opposite Nicomsoup.

Paddington: London Underground Circle line or Hammersmith and City Line towards Moorgate Station. Walk or ride the Northern Line north one stop to Old Street Station. Magic Roundabout is inside the Old Street Station shopping arcade. The entry stairs are opposite Nicomsoup.

Charing Cross: London Underground Northern Line to Kennington. At Kennington, take the other Northern Line back north to Old Street Station. Don’t exit the station but walk through the shopping arcade. The entry stairs are opposite Nicomsoup.
